Close up of Brodie's head

When we first arrived we would get stopped in the street and asked if Brodie was a "sheepdog" - now, I don't know about you but I cannot for the life of me see how he could resemble an Old English Sheepdog.

Now that has all changed and the latest dog that he seems to resemble is an Airedale - at least they can identify that he is a terrier

As most Americans cut the facial hair of the Wheaten back to show off the eyes, we are often asked "can that dog see anything?" or "you should take that dog to the parlour and get his hair cut". We have tried to explain about the long eyelashes keeping the hair up off the eyes and that once those are cut, they curl and grow into the dogs eyes.

And anyway, Brodie can see just fine.
